Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

Working under general supervision and with moderate difficulty, this position is responsible for providing assistance with the department’s service contracts administration.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists with the preparation, processing, and maintenance of service contracts, to ensure accuracy and program compliance
  • Assists with the management of contracts, including processing and reviewing monthly financial and programmatic reports from subcontractors, to ensure accuracy, quality service delivery, and program compliance
  • Assists with collecting, verifying, and submitting subcontractor invoices for payment, to ensure timely and accurate processing
  • Assists with managing financial accounts and records, to ensure program compliance
  • Compiles and summarizes data for the completion and submission of various program reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Assists with the annual program monitoring process, to ensure program compliance
  • Assists with subcontractor training and technical assistance to ensure program compliance and quality service delivery
  • Assists with various clerical duties to ensure efficient and effective administrative operations
  • Provides internal and external customer service, to ensure efficient and effective service delivery

Other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma / GED; and two years’ experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or business; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.

Physical Activity: Frequent sitting, standing, listening, talking, finger use, grasping, and repetitive motion. Occasional walking, climbing, reaching and feeling.

Work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amounts of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body; involves sitting most of the time.

Visual requirements: Close visual acuity for compiling and analyzing data; viewing a computer screen; and reading.

Working conditions: Occasional exposure to extreme weather conditions and infectious disease.
