Youth Activities Aide
Assists the Youth Development Program Manager in providing effective after school programming. Performs a variety of activities appropriate to the participant's developmental needs (physical, emotional, cognitive, social, educational) in accordance with approved curriculum and encourages participation of Tribal and Community Youth. Assists with the organization, coordination, and implementation of culturally broadening and physical experiences which will serve to expand the children's view of the world. Assists with homework help. Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent, with two-years work experience in early childhood or related field. Knowledge of Native American social and economic lifestyles is important and helpful, especially as related to youth, and is preferred. Must possess a valid Arizona driver's license and be insurable under the Tribe's auto insurance carrier. Three Quarter time, benefited position, $12.51 - $14.14 hourly DOE.
