Gaming Inspector

Description:

Gaming Inspector:  Responsibilities:  Familiarity with the Tribal Gaming Code, Tribal/State Gaming Compact, National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS), Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (IGRA), the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), and Departmental Internal Controls and Job Instructions.  Will assure that the Yavapai Gaming Agency (YGA) and the Yavapai Gaming Commission (YGC) are in compliance with the Tribal Gaming Code, Tribal/State Gaming Compact and the NIGC MICS.  Enforce all relevant laws and regulations of the Gaming Operations; protect gaming facilities, patrons, and Tribal assets from any illegal activity. DAY Shift and GRAVEYARD shift available.  

Requirements  High School Diploma or GED. Maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Self-reliant and capable of working independently as appropriate or necessary. Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and a strong orientation to excellent customer service, ability to remain calm, cool, and collected and unbiased at all times, and be physically able to frequently stoop, reach, lift, pull or push 10 lbs. and occasionally lift, pull or push 20 lbs.  Full time, excellent benefits, starting at $14.12-$18.82 hourly DOE.  Must pass a background check, drug test and be insurable under the Tribe's auto insurance carrier.
