Description:

Accounts Payable Technician - Gaming - Responsibilities: Processes accounts payable for the casinos.  Responsible for the review, coding and data entry of all vendor invoices.  Attaches all required documentation and department approvals to invoices.  Processes weekly check runs.  Maintains all vendor accounts and reconciles vendor statements to keep payables current.  Reconciles monthly credit card statements.  Works with purchasing agent to verify purchase orders and receipt of goods.  Prepares weekly vendor analysis reports for management.  Closes and reconciles accounts payable aging each month-end.  Reviews and reconciles complex daily cash sheets.  Enters daily journal entries into the general ledger.  Requirements:  Must have minimum of two (2) years of accounting education at the college level or trade school and a minimum of two (2) years' experience in maintaining a complete double-entry set of accounting and supporting records.  Must obtain and renew, annually, Tribal and Arizona State Gaming certifications. Full-time,  benefited position, $14.12-$18.82 hourly DOE.  Must pass a background check, drug test and be insurable under the Tribe's auto insurance carrier.
