What You`ll Do

As a Direct Support Professional, you`ll be a trusted part of someone`s support team. You`ll help individuals build confidence, develop skills, stay connected to their communities, and work toward greater independence.

Your day may include:

• Supporting daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, and medication administration
• Accompanying individuals to appointments, community activities, and social events
• Teaching and reinforcing practical life skills
• Encouraging independence, confidence, and personal choice
• Maintaining accurate documentation and following safety and regulatory requirements
• Working alongside supervisors, families, and interdisciplinary team members to provide quality support

What You`ll Bring

Requirements include:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
• Professionalism, dependability, and strong communication skills
• Minimum age of 18
• For driving roles: age 21+ with a valid Arizona driver`s license
• Ability to complete required background checks, fingerprint clearance, and training
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
