The Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT) has trained over 3,000 forest therapy guides across 70+ countries since 2012. We are a global leader in the practice of forest bathing and forest therapy, and the organizational home of the Standard Sequence methodology. 

The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and system-minded operations manager who is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our educational business. This role is crucial for ensuring efficiency and productivity across various departments. Key duties involve budgeting and accounting, scheduling meetings, supporting customers, and ensuring office procedures are followed.

Scope of Work

Daily Operations Management

• Oversee daily business activities to ensure smooth operations.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments to align with business goals.

Resource Management

• Manage budgets, resources, and staffing to meet operational objectives.
• Optimize workflows to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as needed.

Employee Supervision

• Supervise and train employees to adhere to company standards.
• Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback.
• Foster a positive company culture and promote employee engagement.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Strong leadership skills and past management experiences.
• Comfortable working with Quickbooks online for bookkeeping.
• Proficiency with Microsoft office suite.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Associate degree in business management and/or accounting.
• A genuine commitment to working in teams with excellence.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field.
• Background in nonprofit administration, education, or wellness/environmental fields
• Familiarity with admissions and student follow up work.
• Tech-savvy and a quick learner.
