This position will gain marketable work experience by working with Yavapai College staff, Faculty and affiliates in a group effort to support the mission, goals and values of Yavapai College.Will assist with duties including: Campus Tours Admissions Dean's office assistance The position is a leadership position for students who are dedicated to serving and representing Yavapai College (YC). Recruitment Ambassadors provide campus tours, serve as YC representatives, and perform duties at various YC campus and community events. May be required to work evenings and weekends.Minimum Expectations & RequirementsMinimum Expectations and Requirements:Must be enrolled in 6 creditsAll hiring documents must be completed prior to first work shift, including acceptable documentation for the I-9 Form.Conduct campus tours for new students, schools, classes, and guestsRepresent Yavapai College during college eventsSupport prospective students by answering questions and providing resourcesDevelop an expanded knowledge of Yavapai CollegeAssist with duties and tasks related to events put on by various YC departmentsWork with diverse populations on and off campusAttend weekly staff meeting and required trainingAssist with variety of office related tasksPossess the following qualities: leadership, dependability, initiative, enthusiasm, discipline and willingness to grow both personally and professionallyStrong speaking skillsEssential FunctionsThe start date, to occur no sooner than July 1st of the current aid year, of this position will be determined by the hiring supervisor after an applicant is hired. This position has a standard end of assignment date of June 30th of the current aid year. Assignment may end sooner or be extended depending FWS eligibility, availability and/or department need.This position is employed by Yavapai College, unless otherwise noted in the above job description.
