Description of Position

Provide customer service and administrative support including registration, orientation for new students, data entry, production of marketing materials and class schedules, support for instructors, volunteers and committees for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI). Coaching and training older adults on the use of classroom and online technology.
Minimum Expectations & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Two years of related office work experience
• Demonstrated strong customer service and communication skills (in writing, spelling.listening,
• Speaking, and providing direction/guidance)
• Ability to work with diverse student populations of all ages
• Ability to exercise effective multi-tasking and time management techniques
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to manage office equipment including copy machines, printers, etc.

Preferred Skills & Abilities

• Associates degree
• Marketing/Social Media Experience
• Basic HTML/Website updating skills
• Experience working with/enrolled in Lifelong Learning programs
• Working with older adults
• Ability to teach computer skills to adults inexperienced in technology
• Work experience in a community college/higher educationenvironment

LEAVE BENEFITS
