Distribution & Circulation Coordinator

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Distribution & Circulation Coordinator to support the daily operations of our circulation department. In this role, you will maintain newspaper and special section distribution locations, grow community placement opportunities, and assist with circulation activities to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, building relationships within the community, and staying active throughout the day.

Responsibilities:

• Visit local businesses to maintain and expand special section and publication distribution locations.
• Restock, maintain, and collect revenue from newspaper and publication racks while ensuring they remain clean and well-stocked.
• Deliver weekly publications, process USPS audits, and support daily circulation and distribution activities.
• Assist with circulation reporting, workflow, special projects, and promotional distribution efforts.
• Provide excellent customer service while communicating professionally with internal teams and community partners.
• Safely operate a personal vehicle for business-related travel and report any company vehicle maintenance concerns when applicable.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and required auto insurance.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet delivery deadlines.
• Comfortable using basic computer programs, email, and standard office equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and spend extended periods driving.
