Job Details

Operate and direct the use of microtrenching equipment, vac trucks, and associated tools in various soil and surface conditions. Maintain the equipment and vehicles and lead the daily work plan, goals and requirements by active participation in pre-task and post-task team meetings, including reviews of safe work practices, work orders, job prints and job notes. Operate heavy equipment and machinery while ensuring the safety of the crew. Assist, enable and otherwise help complete job requirements, including, for example, assisting management, other equipment operators and/or the foreman with loading, unloading or positioning equipment, shoring or bracing, placing underground utilities, or placing or removing asphalt or concrete. Identify and solve problems that may arise during the microtrenching process. Lifting, carrying and holding materials, supplies, tools and equipment.
