Job Details

Supports the operations of the Vein Center by performing patient registration and providing patient care under the direction of the Vein Center providers and clinical staff. Optimizes work flow including escorting patients to exam room, carrying out patient history interviews, taking and recording vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, providing patient information/instructions, exiting patients, etc. Prepares and organizes and maintains exam rooms and work space including restocking supplies in patient rooms, nurses' stations and medication closet and maintains inventory, sterilizing instruments, etc. Checks patients medical records for pertinent data; reviews and maintains current patient information/demographic data. Assists with pre and post exams, bedside procedures, tests and other procedures as directed. Assists with the application, changing and removal of wound dressings.
