A company is looking for a Strategic Advisor (Consultant) to support business development activities related to Department of State humanitarian assistance programs.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic insight into the needs and priorities of the Department of State's Bureau of Disaster and Humanitarian ResponseAdvise leadership on market positioning and client engagement strategies for humanitarian assistance programmingIdentify opportunities and facilitate introductions with stakeholders throughout the capture and bid processRequired QualificationsMinimum 10 years of experience supporting U.S. Government programsPrior experience with USAID's Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance or related Department of State bureaus within the last three years is requiredDeep familiarity with U.S. federal humanitarian assistance and disaster response programming is requiredExisting relationships within the Department of State and implementers of federal humanitarian assistance are requiredDemonstrated experience navigating the federal procurement process and engaging with senior-level government officials
