Job Responsibilities

Provide virtual prenatal genetic counseling services for MFM practice in New York

Have the opportunity to provide direct patient care for a wide variety of complex indications from an extensive referral base

Be able to engage in professional growth opportunities including writing abstracts and publications, physician education and other projects

Have access to the expertise of a nation‑wide organization of medical geneticists, biochemical and molecular geneticists, and over 100 counseling colleagues

Minimum Qualifications

Masters degree in Human Genetics or Genetic Counseling

American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) certification

Preferred Qualifications

2 years or more experience as a certified Genetic Counselor

1 year or more experience of prenatal or reproductive Genetic Counseling

Additional Job Standards

Genetic Counselor license in state of residence (if applicable)

Highly organized, including excellent time management skills

Strong multi-tasking ability with excellent attention to detail

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Strong computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm eastern time zone

Pay Range: $85,000 - $120,000 / year. All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
