Job Summary
Summary
Responsible for planning, organizing, and executing conferences, workshops, and training events within the hospital setting. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure successful events that meet the educational and professional development needs of staff and stakeholders.

Essential Functions
-Plan, coordinate, and execute conferences, workshops, and special events, including logistics, registration, and participant communication.
-Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify training needs and develop relevant conference content.
-Manage budgets for events, including tracking expenses and negotiating with vendors for services such as catering, audiovisual equipment, and venue arrangements.
-Coordinate speaker arrangements, including invitations, travel, accommodations, and presentation materials.
-Promote events through internal communications, social media, and other channels to maximize attendance and engagement.
-Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures, as well as any regulatory requirements related to continuing education credits or accreditation.

Licenses and Credentials
Experience
Experience in event planning or coordination, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting 3-5 years required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and continuing education requirements.
