New And Used Vehicle Detailer

The New and Used Vehicle Detailer is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and overall appearance of both new and used vehicles. This role involves meticulous cleaning, restoration, and finishing of vehicles to produce a show-quality level of cleanliness and polish.

Essential Duties

• Inspect vehicles for any noticeable scratches, dents, or defects.
• Thoroughly wash, buff, and wax the exterior of vehicles using appropriate cleaning solutions and equipment.
• Clean and vacuum the interior of vehicles, ensuring no area is overlooked. Steam and deodorize interiors as needed.
• Apply fabric protectants to interior surfaces, clean windows and windshields to ensure they are streak-free, and recondition and repair upholstery and dashboards.
• Document all cleaning and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with team members or supervisors for any additional cleaning or repair services required.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and adhere to safety protocols.

Skills and Requirements

• Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and products.
• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, use both hands, bend, stoop, and twist.
• Previous experience in vehicle detailing preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Information

• Work Environment: Fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• Hours: Typically five 8-hour days, including Saturday.
