We are looking for an SAP SD/Billing Consultant to work for a leader in the consulting industry. The SAP SD Billing Analyst is responsible for supporting, configuring, and optimizing billing processes within the SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) module. This role focuses on accurate invoice generation, pricing, tax handling, and seamless integration with Finance (FI) and other SAP modules to support the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) process.

The customer finished their implementation, and they are in the hyper care stage right now. You will be working with a small team both onshore and offshore to ensure delivery around production.

This role will also include:

• Manage and support SAP SD billing processes, including invoice creation, credit/debit memos, cancellations, and pro forma invoices.

• Troubleshoot billing, pricing, and posting issues to ensure accurate financial postings to SAP FI.

• Configure and maintain billing types, copy controls, pricing conditions, and tax determination.

• Support the Order-to-Cash (O2C) lifecycle from sales order through delivery, billing, and FI posting.

• Partner with Finance, Sales, and Logistics teams to resolve billing discrepancies and improve process efficiency.

• Perform testing (unit, integration, UAT) for billing enhancements, fixes, and process changes.

• Create and maintain functional documentation, billing workflows, and user guides.

• Provide end-user support and training related to billing and invoicing processes

Skills and Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP SD, with a focus on Billing (SD-BIL).

• Solid understanding of pricing procedures, billing document flow, and tax configuration.

• Experience supporting or configuring Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.

• Knowledge of SAP SD-FI integration, including billing postings and account determination.

• Ability to analyze billing issues, troubleshoot root causes, and implement sustainable fixes.

• Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
