Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking a CAD professional with a strong architectural drafting background for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is fully onsite in Pittsburgh to start, with the ability to transition to a hybrid schedule after training. This position offers an opportunity to work on real-world construction documents and design projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

This role is open to both entry-level candidates with relevant education and experienced professionals with a strong architectural background.

Responsibilities:

• Create and modify architectural drawings using AutoCAD (2D and 3D)
• Develop construction documents ready for field use
• Produce color renderings and visualizations using tools such as SketchUp or V-Ray
• Review and interpret construction drawings for accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with internal teams and participate in project meetings to understand scope and requirements
• Ensure all drawings meet established CAD standards and project specifications
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding updates, revisions, and project needs

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD required (including 3D capabilities)
• Experience with Revit required
• Architectural drafting or construction-related experience required
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Experience with SketchUp, V-Ray, and Photoshop is a plus
• Ability to work onsite full-time during initial training period

Experience Requirements:

• Open to recent graduates with architectural drafting or building-related coursework
• Senior-level candidates with strong architectural experience are encouraged to apply
• Mid-level candidates without strong architectural experience are less aligned with role needs

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
