We are seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to lead all Quality Assurance functions for a precision manufacturing facility producing complex, high-tolerance components. This role is ideal for a quality leader who thrives on the shop floor, enjoys solving problems in real time, and can drive a strong culture of continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Lead all Quality Assurance operations, including QMS oversight and audit readiness
• Provide hands-on support across inspections, metrology, non-conformance management, and root-cause/corrective actions
• Develop, coach, and manage Quality team members
• Maintain accreditations and ensure compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, and customer requirements
• Partner closely with customers and internal teams to resolve issues and strengthen relationships
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, GD&T, and technical documentation
• Support continuous improvement initiatives using lean and Six Sigma methodologies
• Represent the site during customer and third-party audits

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (engineering or technical discipline preferred)
• 5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
• 3+ years leading a Quality department, including OEM or Tier-1 customer interaction
• Experience with QMS, AS9100, and non-conformance processes
• Ability to work on ITAR/EAR-regulated programs

Preferred Qualifications

• Aerospace, automotive, or hydraulic motors industry experience
• Knowledge of NDT special processes (chemical processing, FPI, EDM)
• Strong GD&T proficiency
• Lean/Six Sigma experience
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, small-team environment
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
