About the Opportunity

The Intern, Quality Improvement role at MVP Health Care provides an opportunity to work with a team of professionals dedicated to improving healthcare quality and outcomes. This internship offers a chance to gain hands-on experience in quality improvement initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.

What You'll Do
  • Assist with measuring, analyzing, and tracking monthly performance data
  • Develop and maintain SharePoint sites; organize content to support transparency, visibility, and communication of quality strategy and initiatives across the enterprise
  • Support the development and execution of quality initiatives, including research, content development, follow-up, and coordination
  • Collaborate with project and performance managers, clinicians, and other stakeholders to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
  • Participate in meetings and discussions to stay informed on ongoing quality improvement efforts and share knowledge and best practices


Skills and Experience
  • Education, Licensures, & Certifications
  • Currently enrolled in a degree program related to healthcare, public health, or a related field
  • Required Job Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects

Pay Transparency

MVP Health Care is committed to providing competitive employee compensation and benefits packages. The base pay range provided for this role reflects our good faith compensation estimate at the time of posting. MVP adheres to pay transparency nondiscrimination principles. Specific employment offers and associated compensation will be extended individually based on several factors, including but not limited to geographic location; relevant experience, education, and training; and the nature of and demand for the role.

We do not request current or historical salary information from candidates.

Pay Rate: $18 - $25 per hour
