Description:
The position involves working in an inpatient setting, including the emergency department, family birthing center, and ICU.
You will be responsible for completing social work assessments and mental health assessments.
You will also handle DC planning whenever it is necessary.
There will be an emphasis on working with homeless individuals and those dealing with substance abuse.
You will conduct social determinants of health consultations and maternal child assessments as part of your duties.
Moreover, you will be required to complete reporting for DCS and APS when needed.
The average caseload will vary, with 12-16 patients per day.
You may be required to work weekends every 3-4 weeks if needed.
No specific holiday requirements will be imposed.
Business casual attire is expected.
The charting system used will be Cerner.
