Our client is seeking an experienced Information Security Specialist to join their team. This role focuses on maintaining robust information security practices, ensuring compliance with IT policies, and supporting security operations across the organization. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with security tools and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and clients. This is a fully remote position.

Information Security Specialist's Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies and procedures.
• Conduct due diligence questionnaires and assist with client security assessments.
• Manage Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) and maintain awareness of emerging threats.
• Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and industry standards, including SOC 2 requirements.
• Utilize security tools such as CrowdStrike and Fanta to monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents.

Information Security Specialist's Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong background in information security, including policy development and vulnerability management.
• Experience with compliance IT policies and SOC 2 readiness.
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as CrowdStrike and Fanta.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams on technical security initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex security concepts to clients.
