Job Title: Assembly Technician
Job Summary:
Our client in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join their manufacturing team. This role is responsible for assembling, fabricating, and finishing components according to specifications while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.
Responsibilities:

• Assemble components and parts according to blueprints, work orders, and specifications
• Perform light assembly work, including some spot welding
• Use hand tools and power tools to fabricate, modify, and assemble parts
• Weld and solder components to produce finished products
• Detail and finish products to ensure they meet quality and workmanship standards
• Conduct basic quality inspections and testing checks throughout the assembly process
• Store raw materials and finished goods properly within the warehouse
• Package products for shipment according to company procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and ensure equipment is properly cared for

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in assembly or a related manufacturing role preferred
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools for fabrication and modification
• Knowledge of welding and soldering techniques
• Familiarity with airless paint spraying and automotive painting techniques preferred
• Experience in auto restoration is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and follow specifications accurately
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and work ethic
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted; lifting aids or team lifts are required for items over 50 pounds
