Job Position

In this position, you will:

• Perform manual labor in the construction, maintenance, and repair of public infrastructure in town rights-of-way, to include maintenance and repair of streets, shoulders, culverts, and ditches.
• Inspect, maintain, repair or construct streets, alleyways, easements, rights-of-way, sidewalk, waterways, and facilities throughout the system.
• Complete set-up and pick-up of traffic control devices to assist in traffic control around work crews; prepare streets and facilities for town events.
• Operate heavy equipment including 6 and 10-wheel dump trucks, front-end loader, backhoe, grader, bucket truck, high lift and mowers.
• Perform the function of a Crew Leader as needed.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in a safe manner; adhere to all town safety regulations; ensure all regulations pertaining to the safe use of equipment are understood and followed.
