Billing Specialist Details:

• Temporary position
• $ 19.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

• Responsible for submitting insurance claims, following up on unpaid or denied claims, resolving billing discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records.
• Responsible for verifying patient insurance eligibility, posting payments, performing audits, and ensuring compliance with payer rules and regulations.
• A key function is also to provide customer service to patients regarding billing inquiries and to identify and report trends to improve revenue cycle performance.

Billing Specialist Qualifications:

• Prior medical billing experience essential
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• High attention to detail
• Basic math and computer knowledge
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized
