divh2Maintenance Technician/h2pMaintenance Technicians are responsible to the Maintenance Supervisor and shall assure that the procedure outlined in this manual as well as all FAA Regulations and manufacturers instructions are complied with. In addition to all responsibilities listed below, work involves the responsibility of performing routine maintenance, and major inspections on HondaJet, Piper, TBM, Pilatus, LearJets, Beechjet, Citations and other corporate aircraft. Troubleshooting, repair, and modification of aircraft systems and engines is accomplished by this position. In addition, component removal and reinstallation, operational checks, leak checks, and engine runs are all within the responsibility of the AMT. The AMT is responsible for using sound judgment and technical aptitude to make decisions regarding maintenance, sequence, and techniques, troubleshooting and discrepancy resolution./ppEssential Functions and Responsibilities:/pulliEnsure that all repairs are accomplished by approved methods and techniques and in accordance with the specifications set forth by the manufacturer in the service manuals, the Federal Aviation Regulations, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives and other data approved by the FAA administrator./liliResponsible for planning and coordinating the activities of their shop or area, so as to minimize delays and increase production and efficiency./liliEnsure that all work accomplished will be completed in strict accordance with the manufacturers maintenance and repair instructions and TITLE 14 CFR part 43./liliExercise all reasonable care to protect all parts- sub assembles; major assembles and completed units against loss or damage./liliEnsure that all applicable repair station forms utilized are properly completed./liliEnsure good housekeeping rules are observed and that all shop-working areas are kept clean and orderly at all times./liliEnsure that proper tools and equipment are available and those tools are maintained in serviceable condition and ensure that any tool which is found unserviceable for any reason will be removed from service. He will be responsible for good housekeeping and will ensure that housing and facilities and safety precautions are adequate./liliEnsure proper handling of parts and the preservation of all units or parts during the work process through the maintenance department./liliRequired to be thoroughly familiar with the requirements of the repair station manual, FAA Regulations, Airworthiness Directives and Advisory Circulars, Manufactures Service Letters/Bulletins and engineering orders./liliCommunicates with the maintenance lead technicians concerning progress of the assigned work./liliPerform airframe and powerplant repairs, inspections and modifications./liliRemoval and disassembly of defective parts, assembly and installation of replacement parts and testing of system./liliInterpret technical manuals, drawings and blueprints./liliEnsure that all discrepancies are signed off with all the information completed, such as part numbers, maintenance manual, ATA and Chapter, etc./liliDisplays and promotes a positive attitude toward work and other employees./liliUse experience and technical expertise to assist when necessary to meet completion and production schedules and produce the quality our company has come to expect./liliAssure that all safety precautions are taken and that available protection devices are properly used at all times when applicable to the tasks performed, in order to reduce the risk of possible injury and health problems resulting from performing assigned tasks./liliIdentify any employees problems and concerns and deal with them, if unable to solve the problems, forward them to management./liliTechnicians shall have all their work inspected (except for off-site maintenance, see off-site maintenance requirements) by an appropriately rated inspector as listed on the Roster of Management Supervisory and Inspection Personnel at the completion of each task./liliParticipates with management to strategize and implement new maintenance tactics./liliProvide leadership and communication to subordinates and employees./liliPerforms related work as assigned./li/ulpRequirements:/ppstrongEducation:/strong/pulliSeven or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience./liliAirframe and Powerplant (AP) Certificate (Preferred)./li/ulpstrongExperience Requirement:/strong/pulliSeven or more years demonstrated experience in aircraft maintenance inspections and repairs./liliStrong understanding in 135 and 145 repair station operations/regulations required./li/ulpstrongMinimum Work Experience Requirement:/strong/pulliClean driving record./liliAble to pass a background check./liliAbility to pass a drug screening test./liliWilling to work weekends, if needed./liliWilling to work off location, if needed./li/ulpstrongIdeal candidate will have the following work styles:/strong/pulliAttention to detail./liliPersistence in the face of obstacles./liliA willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges./liliBeing reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations./liliBeing pleasant with others on the job and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude./liliBeing sensitive to others needs and feelings and being understanding and helpful on the job./liliGuiding oneself with little or no supervision and depending on oneself to get things done IAW acceptable techniques and methods./liliMaintaining composure, keeping emotions in check, controlling anger, and avoiding aggressive behavior even in very difficult situations./liliAccepting criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high stress situations being open to change (positive or negative) and to considerable variety in the workplace./liliResults oriented Proven ability to achieve goals.
