The posted compensation range of $18.00 - $24.41 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Under the direction of the Materials Management Manager or Supervisor, the Materials Management Technician is responsible for disinfecting medical equipment and procedure carts according to department procedures. The technician receives, stores, issues, and delivers medical supplies and equipment, and prepares equipment and supplies for shipping when necessary. This role includes performing daily counts of par-level locations using hand-held technology or the materials management information system, as well as entering data for stock items issued from inventory. The technician maintains all hospital inventory and materials management work areas in a clean and orderly condition and participates in the inventory and cycle-counting process as outlined by departmental procedures.
