Foreperson – Utility Line Clearance / Vegetation Management

About the Role
ArborWorks LLC is hiring experienced Forepersons to lead non-union vegetation management crews in the field. This role is ideal for candidates with backgrounds in utility line clearance, tree trimming, climbing, rigging, bucket operations, or vegetation management crew leadership. The Foreperson is responsible for daily job site safety, production quality, customer communication, and training crew members.

What You Will Do
• Lead daily field operations for utility vegetation management crews
• Perform tree trimming, felling, limbing, bucking, and brush clearing
• Operate chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, and related equipment
• Set up safe work zones and traffic control
• Conduct daily truck, tool, and equipment inspections
• Train, mentor, and oversee crew members to ensure safe and efficient work
• Communicate with customers and utility representatives
• Complete all required paperwork and job documentation
What We're Looking For
Required:
• Minimum 12 months of line clearance or professional tree industry experience
• Training completed in Groundperson and Aerial Rescue
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Tree Feller Training and equipment proficiency
• Ability to perform physical outdoor labor for full workdays
• Strong knowledge of climbing, bucket work, rigging, and ANSI Z133 safety standards
Preferred:
• Valid Driver's License (CDL a plus)
• DOT Medical Examiner Certificate (MCSA-5876)
• Experience leading or training crews
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Herbicide Applicator License or ability to obtain within 90 days (company-paid)
