About The Role

The Key Accounts Director directly sells enterprise security software, managed services and consulting solutions across the CrowdStrike portfolio. Develop and own relationships within assigned accounts, maximizing revenue and footprint. Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Marketing, Partner Alliances, Finance and Customer Support, as well as external parties such as Global System Integrators and Channel Partner firms. The role is open to qualified candidates located in CA, AZ, CO, WA (Western US states).

Qualifications (What Youll Need)

  • Advanced level of expertise in field sales, account development and a demonstrable track record of exceeding sales goals.
  • Deep security industry knowledge and ability to comprehend, synthesize and articulate how CrowdStrike addresses customers current and future business challenges.
  • Confidence and experience with presentations, customer service, financial/business acumen and negotiation skills at senior?most levels of engagement.
  • Deep understanding of assigned accounts, overall business objectives and the technical landscape, including Executive/Board of Director personas.
  • Authoritative leader who sets example and compels others to get on board.
  • Ability to mentor others in consultative effectiveness and establish trust with internal and external customers.
  • Thorough knowledge of sales methodologies, techniques and the lifecycle of security software solutions, business?value concepts and company products.

Responsibilities (What Youll Do)
  • Expand sales within existing and/or new accounts while building relationships with key decision makers.
  • Develop and execute a strategic, comprehensive business plan for each account, identifying core customer requirements and mapping the benefits of CrowdStrikes solutions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in CRM/Marketing software of customer contact and activity data.
  • Accountable for accurate forecasting, quarterly revenue delivery and implementation of agreed account and business plans.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop an effective plan for the accounts, including events and roadmap sessions.
  • Promote CrowdStrikes products, maximize brand recognition and mindshare at all levels, and publicize success stories.
  • Provide customer feedback to internal stakeholders for product, systems and process improvements.
  • At this level, incumbents will have deep subject?matter expertise in selling the companys products and services.
  • Assigned accounts are the largest and/or the most complex in nature.
  • Maintain key relationships and regularly interact with senior?most customer executives and CXO?level decision makers.

Education & Experience
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent educational background is preferred.
  • Minimum 15+ years of relevant professional experience.

Base salary range: $160,000 $215,000 per year, with eligibility for commissions, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401(k) and paid time off.
