Your Mission

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a key role in the quality assurance of our products. You are not just a tester but a sparring partner for developers, product managers, and designers with the goal of ensuring an excellent user experience. With your expertise in test automation, test strategies, and QA best practices, you will contribute significantly to delivering our applications reliably, performantly, and securely.

Your Tasks
  • Development and implementation of comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases for new and existing features to ensure quality in all phases of the development process
  • Identification of gaps in existing testing processes and proposals for improvement
  • Conducting manual and automated tests
  • Building and continuously developing test automation
  • Documentation, prioritization, and tracking of defects; close collaboration with the development team in resolving issues
  • Ensuring that performance, scalability, and security tests are integrated into the QA process
  • Close collaboration with product managers, designers, and developers to clarify testable requirements
  • Promotion of QA best practices throughout the team for a shared quality consciousness
Your Competencies
  • Experience with test frameworks for mobile (e.g., XCTest, Espresso) and web (e.g., Cypress, Playwright)
  • Knowledge of API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
  • Practice in building test automation and regression tests
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes and build pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
  • Analytical thinking and structured working style
  • Nice-to-have: knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)

Your Background Education & Experience
  • Education: Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable degree
  • Professional Experience: At least 5 years in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role
  • Language Skills: Fluent English in speech and writing (team and project language); very good German skills
