What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Support Project Managers on project tasks to meet profitability goals and deliver high-quality services
• Conduct biological and waters/wetland analysis, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations
• Prepare CEQA and NEPA compliance documentation and permit applications
• Coordinate project assignments and review environmental databases and documentation
• Ensure project compliance with environmental mitigation measures and federal, state, and local regulations

What is Required (Qualifications)

• BS or MS in biology, ecology, wetland science, or a similar field
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a biologist in Southern California
• Knowledge of current environmental regulations, including CEQA and NEPA
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience conducting wetland delineations and preparing jurisdictional delineation reports
• Specialized training in fields such as botany, wildlife biology, or wetland ecology
• Familiarity with managing databases related to environmental projects
