Job Summary
BASIC FUNCTION:
Under the direction of the County Superintendent or designee, the Chief Financial Officer plans, organizes, controls, and directs the business services functions supporting six small school districts under county fiscal oversight. The CFO ensures sound financial management, legal compliance, and efficient operations while providing leadership, fiscal oversight, and strategic direction to ensure long-term financial stability and support instructional goals.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, public administration or a related field and five years of increasingly responsible school business or public agency finance experience, including supervisory experience.
Master's degree or CPA preferred.
LICENSE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Required to provide own transportation. If using own vehicle in the course of employment, must have valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
BENEFITS: A Benefit Entitlement for health, dental and vision coverage is available for positions that are at least 4 hours per day. The entitlement is based on the hours worked per day.
