- Please note: This is a 30-hour-per-week position - - - The incumbent will prepare labs for General Biology, Microbiology, Anatomy and Physiology, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Environmental Biology, Geology. Ready a variety of laboratory equipment for student use. Order supplies and monitor stock levels across more than 300 inorganic and organic chemicals, microbiology growth media, live specimens, preserved specimens, consumables, dissection supplies, test-tubes, beakers, etc. Work in close cooperation with instructors to ensure that live specimens and perishables arrive in a timely manner. Lead role in training part-time and student employees in lab preparation and procedures of experiments. Work as the liaison between the Division and the Science Department. NOTE: In the Science labs, position is the Chemical Hygiene Officer for the Department.
