Job Summary

The Principal Consultant, Data & Analytics, is a trusted advisor who drives innovation and accelerates adoption of modern data, analytics, and data science solutions to support regional sales efforts. The Principal Consultant will provide thought leadership on cutting-edge technologies, enabling clients to achieve business outcomes through data-driven insights and strategic guidance. This role will focus on fostering relationships within strategic accounts nationally, positioning Trace3 as a leader in Data, AI, ML, advanced analytics, and data platform modernization. The ideal candidate will bridge business objectives with technical solutions, collaborate across teams, and help clients navigate emerging trends in data and analytics to unlock new opportunities.

Summary Of Essential Job Functions
  1. Partner with regional sales teams to identify and drive opportunities for data platform modernization, analytics, and machine learning initiatives.
  2. Conduct assessments of client data and analytics environments to recommend modernization strategies aligned with business objectives and outcomes.
  3. Collaborate with Trace3's other business units to design integrated solutions and go-to-market strategies for data-driven transformation across technology areas.
  4. Act as a trusted advisor, delivering presales consultations and guiding clients on adopting data strategy, advanced analytics, business outcomes and data science frameworks.
  5. Research and evaluate emerging technologies in the data and analytics space, collaborating with venture capitalists, industry groups, and Trace3 Innovation team.
  6. Develop reusable assets, such as playbooks, solution briefs, whitepapers, and presentations to support sales and client engagements.
  7. Lead technical workshops, executive briefings, and enablement sessions for clients and internal teams.
  8. Identify disruptive trends in data, machine learning and advanced analytics, collaborating with the Innovation Team to pilot and scale new capabilities.
  9. Support the development and refinement of Trace3's Data, AI and analytics product portfolio, including strategy and partnerships with key vendors.
  10. Deliver impactful presentations to C-level executives, VPs, and Directors to align technology solutions and business value.
  11. Mentor and support technical teams, ensuring alignment with best practices and emerging industry standards.
Required Skills And Experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (preferred); equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in data platforms, analytics, data science, or related domains.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing Data, ML solutions and leveraging advanced analytics to solve complex business challenges.
  • Proven ability to architect modernized data platforms using technologies such as cloud data warehouses, real-time analytics, and data governance tools.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, AWS, and Google Cloud Platforms.
  • Proven ability to consult on data science and machine learning frameworks to drive business outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of business environments and IT operations in enterprises.
  • Experience working with Fortune 1000 clients, delivering impactful solutions in data and analytics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical ideas to diverse audiences, including executives and end-users.
  • Knowledge of adjacent technology domains, such as Cloud, IoT, and Cybersecurity, to build holistic solutions.
  • Proficiency in creating and delivering high-impact presentations, workshops, and technical collateral.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead technical teams in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed; valid driver's license required.

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.

Estimated Pay Range $183,000 - $224,000 USD
