This position maintains supply inventory and related parts for the Operation. This position also assists in maintaining the organization and orderliness of materials, equipment, facilities, and grounds. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ FUNCTIONS: Identifies inventory needs: materials, supplies, medical equipment, and medicine. Updates inventory as materials, supplies, medical equipment, and/or medicine items are added or deleted. Takes supply requests, package orders, and prepares materials for transport of requested items to various facilities throughout the coverage area. Prepares, issues, and receives medicine to and from ambulance team members. Assists in initiating orders to replenish supply inventory utilizing established guidelines and procedures. Contacts vendors to obtain price quotes, comparative analysis, and to place orders. Receives, unpacks, and stores general or specialized goods and supplies.
