Job Details

Under close supervision, performs skilled installation of new traffic control devices and the inspection and maintenance of existing traffic control devices in County rights-of-way. Major Duties, Responsibilities Observes, reports, and repairs damaged traffic control devices, obstructions to sign view, and other potential safety hazards in an accurate timely manner. Removes and/or replaces traffic control devices that are outdated or missing. Verifies reports of damaged or missing traffic control devices, making emergency repair calls after regular working hours. Maintains traffic control device inventory and equipment service records. Keeps records of traffic control device types and locations. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Education:High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of experience in field service with use of hand and power tools.
