Job Details

Advise students/parents on financial aid funding options and evaluate eligibility for federal, state, and institutional funds while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations. Support YC objectives by providing the financial resources to allow students to be successful.- Review students financial aid files to determine eligibility for federal, state and institutional aid. Analyze tax and other income related documents to complete verification in compliance with federal regulations to award aid including grant programs ( ACPE, EGSG, SLEAP, ACAAP)- Exercise professional judgment in evaluating and processing Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), Budget/ Contribution, and dependent status appeals to reevaluate eligibility based on extenuating circumstances within the Department of Education guidelines- Download student financial aid applications (FAFSA) from the Department of Education and submit changes/corrections- Performs work in one of the following areas: Federal Work ...Financial, Advisor, Education, Banking, Skills
