American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient role with a focus on orthopedics, neuro, and geriatric patients, requiring at least one year of recent outpatient experience.

Job Details

• Outpatient physical therapy setting at a single location,
• Patient population includes general orthopedics, neurology, BPPV, vestibular issues, falls, and a large geriatric population,
• Typical caseload is 8-10 patients per day,
• Day shifts with hours varying between 0700 and 1730, typically 8-hour shifts,
• No weekend or holiday shifts required,
• Uses Cerner EMR; EMR experience required,
• Support from PTAs and Rehab Techs,
• Department-specific orientation provided, including environment, processes, and EMR,

Job Requirements

• Active state or compact PT license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable,
• Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient physical therapy experience,
• Current BLS certification required,
• Current CPR certification required,
• Experience with EMR systems required,
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration,
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire,

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients with ortho, neuro, vestibular, and fall-related conditions,
• Dress code requires burgundy scrubs (top and bottom) or burgundy polo shirt with dark pants,
• Work as part of a team with PT manager, PTAs, and rehab techs,
• First-time travelers will be considered,
• Must not have been directly employed by facilities associated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity within the past year,
