Job Details

OF A PROGRAM COUNSELOR: Lead and supervise children through fun interactive activities indoors and outdoors. Assist in creating entertaining activities for all ages at assigned program area. Spend your days with camp participants during meals, cabin time and activities. Create positive lasting memories for each child, each day. - This is not an exhaustive list of job duties. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned. REQUIREMENTS TO BE A PROGRAM COUNSELOR: 16 years of age or older. Current state approved first-aid certification. Current CPR certification. Minimum 6 months qualifying experience. Possess mature judgement and sound decision-making. Ability to communicate effectively with members, peers and supervisor. Ability to effectively communicate information on outdoor programs. Must be observant, safety conscious and able to react calmly and quickly in an emergency.
