Join a high-velocity, global team building the next generation of audio AI experiences. As an Android Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and optimizing mobile features for an advanced reader app powered by generative AI. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft seamless, high-performance user experiences while contributing to the technical direction and infrastructure of the mobile platform. This role is ideal for engineers who are passionate about innovation, autonomy, and real-world impact.

Accountabilities:

• Design, build, and deploy new features and infrastructure for Android applications focused on audio AI.
• Collaborate with designers, researchers, and product managers to create best-in-class user experiences.
• Analyze performance metrics and user feedback to refine and optimize mobile functionality.
• Conduct and evaluate A/B tests to drive product decisions based on measurable outcomes.
• Maintain high standards of code quality through code reviews and adherence to best practices.
• Explore and implement emerging technologies to improve development efficiency and feature impact.
• Own the full lifecycle of features, from concept through production release.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in native Android development with a strong portfolio of shipped features.
• Proficient in Kotlin and Android SDK with a deep understanding of mobile app architecture and design principles.
• Proven ability to design and analyze A/B tests and product experiments with data-driven decisions.
• Self-starter with the ability to operate independently and adapt quickly in fast-paced environments.
• Comfortable working across time zones (ideally located between GMT+3 and GMT–7).
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with a passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge.
• Bonus: Experience in audio processing, AI-driven applications, or 3D/audio interfaces is a plus.
