Yavapai College is seeking an experienced public information officer (PIO) to function as the linchpin between the colleges executive leadership and the internal and external communities. They are responsible for disseminating accurate, timely, and relevant information on behalf of the president and executive leadership team. A PIOs multifaceted responsibilities span from crisis communication to media relations and special events and has a dual reporting to the college president and vice president of community relations and student development. Media Relations/ Communications. Developing and implementing strategic public relations and communications plan(s) for the president & executive leadership team.
