We have created an opportunity for an experienced Executive Account Manager to take a leadership role and manage the responsibility of account maintenance & service needs for our growing book of valuable clients. This person will work directly with the Agency Principals and other team members as needed. A competitive benefits package and salary are offered. Responsibilities

  1. Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients, develop strong relationships, and respond promptly to requests. Meet with clients, coordinate, and execute midyear renewals, change of carriers, etc.
  2. Schedule and participate in enrollment meetings.
  3. Prepare monthly reports, mid-year analyses, and annual management reports.
  4. Manage mid-market and large accounts.
  5. Follow up with insurance carriers regarding RFP statuses.
  6. Assist with claims and underwriting issues.
  7. Provide outstanding customer service and support to clients.
  8. Assist Producers with presentations and Open Enrollment Meetings.
  9. Support client filing processes as backup.
  10. Develop and maintain good client relationships.
  11. Perform financial analyses for renewals.
  12. Understand clients' business, insurance objectives, and benefit program details.
  13. Review provider network discounts for competitiveness and reasonableness.

Qualifications

  • Active Life & Health License.
  • Two or more years of experience in employee benefits, with mid to large group exposure.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships with clients, carriers, and consultants.
  • Solid knowledge of the employee benefits industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (intermediate to advanced skills).
  • Well-organized, punctual, and capable of multitasking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; effective interaction with vendors.
  • Comfortable presenting to large groups.
  • Experience managing self-funded clients is preferred.
  • Ability to attend ongoing continuing insurance education as required by State law.
  • Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
