Description of Position
This position supports all facets of the Jim & Linda Lee Performance Arts Center's (J&LLPAC) marketing, communications, and fund-development activities with an emphasis on preparing specific demographic packages for performances, managing social media campaigns, securing appropriate advertising, and managing internal and external communications. The work involves helping the J&LLPAC achieve its annual revenue goals through promotion of shows to drive ticket sales, corporate sponsorships, and management of the" Impacting the Arts," committee.
The position reports directly to the Executive Director of the Performance Arts Center.
The position duties include:
• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to increase ticket sales, enhance the J&LLPAC presence and elevate ticket buyer engagement.
• Branding content, design, production and distribution of all marketing materials.
• Manage all aspects of publicity and advertising materials which include websites, social media channels, digital collateral, posters, press releases and media advisories.
• Actively track, manage and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies
• Plan and execute all program marketing including video promotions & projects, webpage, Playbill, bathroom art, and TRG Pyramid (weekly ticket sales pacing; inventory management; dynamic pricing).
• Manage all printed materials timeline, design and distribution to include press releases, posters and postcards.
• Manage the website and all J&LLPAC digital advertisements and boards.
• Develop and manage all digital/email and send out the weekly e-blasts.
• Develop the annual patron retention loyalty plan/campaign.
• Host pre-show dinners for both prospective and current donors/sponsors.
• Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising plans including annual giving, volunteer committees, and special events.
• Manage the grant writer(s) to ensure cohesiveness with other fundraising efforts.
• All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Expectations & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in public relations, journalism, communications, marketing, or closely related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong leadership skills, multi-tasking skills, innovative, creative skills as demonstrated by past work history.
- Proficient in using marketing/graphic design software and fundraising tools.
- Strong writing communications ability
- Experience working and developing relationships with corporate leaders
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Certified proficiency in specific marketing and graphic design software such as: Salesforce, mailchimp, google analytics, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign
