This role will be working out of our: Materials Department services division in Northern AZ office.
This Opportunity:
We have immediate full-time career opportunities for a Construction Materials Testing Technician in our Flagstaff/Cottonwood, AZ office. Certerra offers on-going training and the ability to gain valuable career experience and technical certifications.
Job Duties
• Test and inspect construction materials such as soils, concrete, masonry, and hot mix asphalt on construction job sites.
• Prepare daily reports on observation and testing activities
• Review reports and test data for accuracy and completeness
Job Requirements
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as a team player
• Capable of working independently
• Strong communication and detailed writing skills
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry 30 to 50 lbs. and 80 lbs. periodically
• Basic math and writing skills
• Involves outside work in various weather conditions, available to work irregular and weekend hours.
• Ability to pass a drug screen
Required & Preferred Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate clearly and politely with clients
Certifications that could be applicable for this position:
• ACI - American Concrete Institute Field or Laboratory
• ICC - International Code Council
• NICET - National Institution for Certification in Engineering Technologies
• WAQTC and ACNM TTCP
