Job Summary The Plant Superintendent is responsible for managing daily operations of the quarry, including supervision of all hourly employees. Responsible for budgeting; mine planning; permitting; working as a member of the plant management team to achieve operational goals and objectives; managing contracts and contractors; and community relations. Job Responsibilities Monitor cost and help maintain costs in the quarry/crushing operation Develop and maintain a safe and environmentally compliant operation with the assistance of the Safety and Environmental Representatives Help develop new operational methods to reduce costs and produce a more consistent feed to the plant Interface with Corporate Mining staff as well as local QC staff to develop the short-term and long-term mining plan Direct production to meet quality and quantity requirements and coordinate adjustments to the production schedule as needed Manage employee time and attendance Reviewing daily pre-shift inspections, list...Superintendent, Civil Engineer, Maintenance Manager, Plant, Operations, Manufacturing, Skills
