Position: Elementary Physical Education Teacher (.5 FTE) 20 hours / week

Salary: $54,292 - $62,692 (Base pay + 301 Payment). - PRORATED at .5 FTE - PUSD bases salary placement on years of prior experience and level of education. See below for breakdown:

301 Pay - $13,000+ - Expected amount

Benefits - All full-time PUSD employees receive the following benefits in addition to their salary:

- Medical Insurance valued at over $10,250 per year. PUSD has numerous health insurance plans available. The District covers 100% of the employees insurance premiums with most plans. Some plans include cost sharing with PUSD. There is also an option to purchase insurance for dependents, at PUSD group rates.

- Life Insurance ($50,0000) with option to purchase additional for self and family

- Pension Plan with the Arizona State Retirement System: District matches employee contributions (Approximately 12%)

- Generous PTO / Sick Leave plan

- Opportunities for additional pay as an after-school club leader, coaching athletics, tutoring, etc. (all optional)

Requirements

- Valid AZ Teaching certificate (PUSD can assist with a short-term certificate for otherwise qualified applicants)

- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
