Cover time off for the Production Shift Supervisors.
Investigate and identify production issues, make operational decisions, and take corrective actions.
Provide field supervision and coordination for the shift; ensuring proper risk assessment, LOTOTO, and all other safety measures are followed.
Ensure consistent production of all cement, clinker, raw mix, and solid fuels within established quality guidelines, ensuring appropriate actions and communications for any deviations.
Ensure plant equipment is operated in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Communicate significant issues to the appropriate department(s) and the Production Coordinator as necessary when unexpected events occur.
Conduct process line inspections. Complete regulatory forms and correct any defects.
Enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company Policies.
Maintain accurate shift logs for all plant activities.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
High school diploma or GED is required.
5 years of industrial manufacturing experience.
7 years of cement or similar plant experience.
Plant | 70% | of time | Extreme heat, cold, noise, vibrations, Office | 30% | of time | Office environment
Process line inspections - exposed to dusty conditions and loud noises. | Medium | Up to 20 lbs. , Cleaning pyroprocess - exposed to high temperatures, loud noises, and dusty conditions. | Medium | Up to 50 lbs.
