Responsibilities

In your job, you will have the ability to make a difference in a patient's journey by:

• Courteously and efficiently answer all incoming calls and connect callers with the correct extension.
• Take and relay messages in an accurate and timely manner.
• Respond to emergency and urgent calls from patients in a timely manner, direct callers immediately to clinical staff as necessary.
• Perform operator functions including triaging calls, connecting, and transferring calls, setting up conference calls, instructing users on telephone procedures, and reporting telephone and equipment malfunctions to the appropriate party.
• Responsible for opening and closing the switchboard.
• Responsible for the in-house paging system.
• Perform clerical duties as assigned to maintain workflow in the department.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Position is entry level and requires 0-3 years' experience, preferably in a medical setting.

• Friendly and courteous manner answering calls.
• Exceptional Customer Service.
