**Job Summary:**

Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Transport Driver is responsible for transporting clients to and from appointments, meetings, outings, etc. on time, while adhering to all safety regulations and laws.

**Qualifications:**

* Possess a valid Arizona Drivers License

* Possess a clean 5 year MVD driving record

* Possess a high school diploma or GED

* Must be able to be insured on companys commercial liability insurance

* Must be at least 26 years of age

* Must be able to pass e-verify and background check

* Must possess current CPR and First Aid certification

**Responsibilities and Duties:**

* Models appropriate physical and emotional boundaries with clients and co-workers

* Monitors clients continuously and maintains a safe, protective environment for the clients

* Maintains a clean and orderly environment in all client, staff and facility areas, including vehicles

* Complies with security procedures to limit and control contraband in client areas and to prevent dangerous behavior as well as AMA clients

* Transport clients as necessary to 12 Step Meetings, court appointments, airport pickups, gym etc.

* Maintains transportation schedules and makes sure clients depart and arrive on time

* Completes documentation in compliance with Transportation policy (Transport and Outing forms)

* Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with federal and state legal regulations and (JCAHO) requirements.

* Upholds client and driver Seat Belt policy while on Transports

* Maintains cleanliness of vehicles regularly or as needed

* Reports any client items or issues while on transports to appropriate staff

* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

**Physical Requirements:**

* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

* Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
