Grants Accountant: Responsibilities: Analyze financial and operating data and prepares management reports, financial statements and other documents for the Accounting Department. Reviews and maintains proper and accurate recording of all revenues received and expenses incurred for all contracts/grants, and insures the timely reporting of such information to appropriate governmental agencies. Monitors grants and contracts for compliance of expenses and coordinates Bureau of Indian Affairs contract budget revisions and review with the Tribal Contracts Officer. Requirements: Associates Degree in Accounting, with six years' experience directly related to the specified duties. Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, with four years' experience directly related to the specified duties. Prefer knowledge of federal/government financial regulations and grant and/or contract administration. Full-time, exempt, benefited position, $39,077 - $52,103 annually DOE. Must pass a background check for a gaming license, drug test and be insurable under the Tribe's auto insurance carrier.
