About the Job

We are seeking a results-driven individual to lead our Implementation Project Management team. In addition, they will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of key initiatives such as capacity planning and rollout of new Project Management tools. This role will focus on improving and documenting project workflows, team performance, and ensuring seamless collaboration across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, implementation experience, and a deep understanding of project management best practices.

What you will be doing:

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of project managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with project managers to review progress, address challenges, and provide mentorship.
  • Define and implement best practices for project execution, ensuring consistency across team members.
  • Develop career growth plans and provide ongoing coaching to project management team members.

Process Optimization & Governance

  • Establish and refine project management frameworks, tools, and templates to improve efficiency.
  • Monitor and report on project health, risks, and outcomes, presenting data-driven insights to leadership.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in project execution and provide recommendations to enhance the customer experience.
  • Standardize project reporting and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Provide pre-sales support to the Sales team as needed, offering insights into implementation capabilities and frameworks.
  • Proactively manage and defuse customer escalations by collaborating with internal teams (Support, Customer Success, Account Management) to develop swift, effective resolutions while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Ensure the successful, on-time, and on-budget delivery of implementation projects. Communicate overall project status, risks, and aging backlog mitigation plans to key stakeholders.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with HCM (Human Capital Management) Software: HR, HRIS, Workforce Management, Talent Management.
  • 7+ years of experience in project management.
  • Strong expertise in Project Management methodologies.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or similar.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Resiliency and energized by change.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP or Agile/Scrum certification.
  • Experience as a Project Management Team lead or Supervisor.
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams; Salesforce, and Zendesk.
